  • Aggregated data – we may obtain certain analytical data, web user stats, such as cookie ID or other analytics from third-party analytics service providers that enables us to improve our services, provide dashboard and overview information and review how content has been viewed.

If you subscribe to our service, you normally will be required to provide your payment details. These details will be made available in part to both the payment gateway and merchant bank involved. We ourselves will not receive and/or store your credit/debit card details. We use Stripe (www.stripe.com) as our payment provider. Stripe will process the payment data as an independent controller and in accordance with its own privacy policy, which can be found here: https://stripe.com/gb/privacy. Your personal data will only be used by Stripe for the purposes of processing your payment, and will be securely encrypted. Stripe is based in Dublin and the United States, so your transaction may involve your personal data being transferred outside of the EEA directly to them, if you are based in Europe.

 

In order to perform our obligations under our contract with you and for our legitimate business interests, we may disclose your personal information to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006.

 

We may also disclose your information to third parties as follows:

  • In connection with the sale or transfer of all or part of our business; and/or
  • As required by law and or in the good faith belief that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, bankruptcy or similar legal process.

 

Where we use third party service providers as outlined above, we choose parties which we believe offer a secure service and help us enhance our services or practices, and follow any legal requirements that may apply.

7. WHERE DO WE STORE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We will keep your personal data secure by taking appropriate technical and organisational measures against its unauthorised or unlawful processing and against its accidental loss, destruction or damage.

 

Our Website is hosted on secure Google servers located in London, England. The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the UK and European Economic Area (“EEA”). It may also be processed by staff operating outside the UK and EEA who process account details and who provide support services. Transfers will only be made to countries which are the subject of an adequacy decision of the EU Commission or recipients who have entered into binding contracts with us to comply with the terms of this Notice and Data Protection Law. 8. SECURITY

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorised way, altered or disclosed, including the running of a proprietary firewall and malware scanning. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable supervisory authority of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

Transactions and processing activities – we will retain all financial data provided or generated in connection with your subscriptions for the legal retention period for tax, audit and associated reports/accounting.

 

Operation of Website, Providing Support and Delivery of Web Content – we will maintain this data, including logs and web server records, for the duration of the Website and the applicable limitation period relevant for claims for breach of contract.

 

Data analytics and map data flows to improve the Website, products/services, marketing, customer relationships and experiences – this data will be deleted after one year.

 

Notwithstanding any of the retention periods stated above, if such data is necessary to fulfil other purposes, we will keep your personal data but only to process it for such other purposes. Where we rely on the legal retention period, at the end of the legal retention period personal data stored in the databases and other electronic documents will be deleted.
